Last week, the Year 3 children headed to Flatford Mill in Suffolk, for their first ever residential! Fortunately, the sun shone from start to finish, which only added to the magic. The children spent their time pond dipping, small mammal trapping, catching and inspecting bugs in nets, orienteering, shelter building, making green art from nature and singing around a campfire. As well as these activities, they developed their independence and teamwork skills by making their own lunches, beds and trying to win the dorm inspection tidiness awards! The Year 3 children had a marvellous time and are ready for a well deserved rest this weekend. Thank you, Flatford!
