And the results are in!
We are very pleased and proud to announce that 28 Prospect House pupils have achieved a Gold certificate in the recent UK Bebras Challenge. This places them in the top 10% of their age group in the whole country. The challenge is part of an international competition focusing on computational reasoning and last year over three million children from more than 80 countries took part.
What comes next? Well, excitingly a number of our older students have been selected for the invitation-only second round Coding Challenge in March. This round is designed to inspire children to build programme solutions to computational thinking problems.
Participation in the UK Bebras and Coding Challenges is part of the computing enrichment programme at Prospect House where pupils are offered valuable opportunities to attempt timed challenges in coding allowing them to practice their skills and build confidence.
