A warm welcome from our Headmistress

Welcome to Prospect House: a warm, happy, and high-performing school where both pupils and staff thrive. Here, every child is known and cherished, not just by their form teachers, but also by our dedicated specialists and Senior Leadership Team, all of whom go above and beyond daily to nurture the magic of childhood learning.

At Prospect, we support pupils in building confidence, adaptability, humility, and grit. Small classes and truly individualised support foster a genuine sense of belonging. We prioritise wellbeing with programs like Place2Be, ensuring that pupils form lifelong friendships in a nurturing environment.

It is a privilege to lead our staff in nurturing Prospect pupils as they grow and develop, tailoring learning around their interests and needs. When a new family joins us, they become part of the Prospect family, and our admissions process reflects the pride we take in this integration. We hope our website gives you a taste of the spectacular array of activities that bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom, such as The Hollow, our onsite oasis where children learn Forest School skills.

To capture the pure magic of our inspirational staff and our ProSpectaculars (our pupils!), there is no substitute for a visit. We warmly welcome you to experience firsthand the Prospect Pulse: a vibrant and energetic culture that embodies our commitment to excellence and innovation.

I have always believed that if, twenty years from now, even one of the many pupils I have taught says, “Mrs Gray made a difference,” then I will have truly achieved my goal and Prospect are lucky enough to have a team absolutely dedicated to this goal.

Come and see us soon!
